Since October 2022, the Bad Homburg Jewish Center has been running a day program for Jewish children from Ukraine who came to Bad Homburg as a result of the war. More than 30 children aged 3 to 14 participate in the program. Most of the children from Ukraine studied in Jewish schools before the war, now they study in public schools in Germany. While in Germany, they want to continue to study Jewish history, culture and traditions. Therefore, as part of the daytime educational program, children study Judaism, Hebrew and information technology.
